The P-40G (Model 81-AG) was a mixture of a P-40 fuselage and Tomahawk IIA wings, and was armed with four .30 calibre machine guns. This re-model was completed between August and September 1941, with 44 of these aircraft completed. 16 were sent to the U.S.S.R. with the remaining P-40G's in the States being re-designated as RP-40G's in October 1942.
